I am from a small town in Texas called Pilot Point. I went to Pilot Point High School, where I ran track, cross country, and played softball. I was very active in my small town, including working at the small local pharmacy, student coucil, national honor society, national art honor society, and class vice president. I was also very active in the athletic training program. I love serving my community and spending time with the youth. I enjoy all kinds of art but mostly abstract painting and charcoal pieces. I LOVE THE MOUNTAINS. I snowboard any chance I get! Although I love sports, most of my childhood I was sick from a chronic disease called cystic fibrosis. This limited a lot of activities I could do, and I still struggle with it today. Being a college athlete is a big deal in the Cystic Fibrosis community, and I am very proud to represent many young athletes with cystic fibrosis. I work with the Boomer Esiason Foundation to spread awareness to cystic fibrosis to find a cure.
