Harvard Women's Basketball guard, Harmoni Turner (2023-24 Junior) emerged as the standout basketball player during her first year, making a significant impact in the Ivy League. Named the Ivy League Rookie of the Year and to the All-Ivy Second Team. She is the first Harvard player to post a triple-double with 20+ points (21 points, 10 rebounds, and 13 assists.) Before joining Harvard, Turner had already distinguished herself as a prolific athlete at Mansfield Legacy High School. As a four-year letterwinner and team captain, she earned numerous accolades, including All-State, All-Region, and All- District First Team honors, and was a member of the 2,000 career points club. Turner's leadership and excellence extends beyond basketball-- Harmoni recently started a nonprofit called Pretty N’ Secure. The organization was started to mentor eight high-school-age girls in Texas who have endured trauma in their childhoods and centralizes around female empowerment.
