Though it is hard sometimes, it’s important to have community outside of my sport. I have a church community where I am able to help lift up the next generation and serve the Lord thought volunteering. I am a student athlete, through the pursuit of an elementary education and special education degree I have a family. I am well equipped to go into schools and other scholastic and other scholastic settings to educate and better prepare student to be contributing members of society. Specifically in special education I can advocate and show the world that everyone brings something to the table. I love to be outdoors and take in all that it has to offer. Hunting, fishing, hiking, and land management all provide fulfillment for myself on a weekly basis. I work at Mountain Outreach assisting in home builds and numerous other projects. Anything worth doing is worth doing well. I am surrounded by opportunities some look like work, but none of them feel like it.
