Biography
Josephine Kinlan is a Captain of the Division I Pacific Beach Volleyball team, representing the team on the Student-Athlete Advisory Board (SAAC), where she is also Executive of Community Service and Student Government Relations. Josephine was awarded West Coast Conference All-Academic Team in her most recent season. Josephine is pursuing two Bachelors of Arts in Media and Communications, plus three minor degrees in Sustainability, Kinesiology, and Writing. She is growing her social media presence to inspire young athletes and girls, and bring attention to brands and social causes aligning with her values and interests. Josephine is the Assistant Director of the Equality International Film Festival, and a Strategic Development Intern for Athletes Unlimited. She is a campus ambassador for The Hidden Opponent non-profit, and fintech company, Acorns. She works in the Athletics Media Department, and edits the school newspaper and literary magazine. She also coaches youth volleyball.
