About

Biography

I’m a student at Dallas Baptist University, studying psychology. I’m not sure what I want to do with my degree, but I know I want to help others. I’m a huge advocate for mental health, especially with athletes because I myself have had struggles with such in the past. I love sports! I grew up in a household with my father as a coach and developed a love for athletics at a young age. It’s what drove my desire to run at the college level. Some charitable organizations I’ve been involved with are March of Dimes and Light the nights. As a premie baby I think it’s important to advocate for the families and young children who need help and support in such hard times, and to celebrate the strong ones who’ve overcame obstacles at a young age. As well as serving in my hometown church, The Ark, as a student representative in the youth program. Through them I went on a mission trip last summer here in Grand Prairie to help spread the gospel and help run food and clothe drives.
