Hello, my name is Margherita and my fencing journey began in Milan, Italy, where I represented the Italian Junior National Team and achieved numerous victories. In 2010, I moved to the U.S. on a fencing scholarship to Penn State. As a freshman, I won the NCAA Fencing Championships and finished in the top three for the next three years, graduating with a bachelor's degree in Pre-Medicine. In 2019, I was granted U.S. citizenship due to my fencing achievements. Since then, I've been a member of the U.S. National Team, securing numerous results, including two World Cup wins this season. Beyond fencing, I am passionate about medicine and involved in medical research. My ultimate ambition is to become a cardiologist. I strive for excellence in every aspect of my life and hope to inspire others with my story.
