All my life the goal has been to play baseball at the highest level and that hasn’t been as smooth as I thought it would be. There have been several unforeseen circumstances that I’ve had to overcome. Most notable of those circumstances have been my injuries. I’ve torn my UCL twice and faced numerous other injuries. Due to this, I went from committing to play at a Power 5 to being resigned to a D2 back in my hometown. Worse, my talent and skill level took a big hit not being healthy and able to train, practice, and play completely for the past two years. I’ve had to reinvent myself. The path has been ragged no doubt, but things are starting to clear. While it will take longer than I anticipated, the goals remain the same and I will get back there and go beyond.
