Biography
Greetings! My name is Willie Ponce, a baseball player at Eastern New Mexico University. In addition to collegiate baseball, I also play fastpitch softball and was able to represent team USA for the 18u MNT in the WBSC Pan-Am games in Guatemala in 2019, as well as the World Cup in New Zealand in February of 2020, where I led the team in batting average. It was an amazing experience, so I hope to continue my close connection with USA softball by playing for the 23u MNT in the near future, and my end goal for softball is to make the USA men's team! I also have great hopes to play professional baseball in the future and I'm determined to let nothing stop me until I see my dreams become a reality!
